Pumpkin Patch Field Trip Part 2

While waiting to head out to the school buses yesterday morning, Mom found this Deep Thought by Kacy Horne hanging in her classroom.











FYI for anyone who also uses blogger and/or cares: I solved the photo issue but have to upload my pics directly from Picasa (instead of uploading from the picture folder on my computer). An extra step but I am sure your necks will appreciate the effort.

Columbus Day Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Kacy had her first pre-k field trip yesterday, to Roha Farms. She was very excited to ride a school bus for the first time.

Welcome to October

We went to the Wolfes for dinner and a sleepover on Saturday night. Attempted to get a good shot of all four kids. Each one is good except for one participant. Attempt #1 great save for Grant.

Attempt #2 ok except for Daniel's perfectly-timed spit up.

And attempt #3 finds three wonderful, smiling faces, and one closed-eye Kacy. Oh well. You get the idea.

Despite blogger.com thwarting my efforts, I still wanted to include this picture of our princess chef (see spatula in hand, at the ready).

Hard to believe October is here; Daniel is 10 weeks old today, and Kacy's 4th birthday is lurking around the corner. Birthday cake theme discussions are already happening.

Penmanship Skills

Kacy has been working hard to master writing her full name. The above was done by herself, with some verbal guidance on how to form some of the letters.

Unfortuntaely I still have not found a solution to stop Blogger from rotating the photos from vertical to horizontal...but here are two good ones anyway.
